WNBA may move Monarchs to Bay Area
With the Sacramento Kings in rebuilding mode, it looks as though the Sacramento Monarchs will have to fall on the sword. In a sacrifice to make the Kings better, the Monarchs may be headed to the Bay Area.
Three Trojans sign letters of intent
Three Oak Ridge High School seniors signed their letters of intent to play college baseball during the school’s ceremony for National Letter of Intent Day recently. All three signed with Division I schools to pursue a future in America’s pastime, as Jordan Mills, Jake Schu and Kyle Porter shared the moment on campus with their high school baseball coach Todd Melton.
Monarchs get second pick from WNBA Draft Lottery
NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2009 – The Minnesota Lynx won the ninth annual WNBA Draft Lottery and earned the top pick in the 2010 WNBA Draft, the league announced today.

B-Jax retires, joins Kings staff
Once the emotional leader on the court, longtime Sacramento King Bobby Jackson will now be helping the team in a different suit. After announcing his retirement on Oct. 23, Jackson announced he’d be pursuing a career off the court with the Kings as the “first-ever Kings Ambassador” and as a team scout.
