Volleyball Update
I promised in the print edition to update our readers on what’s going on with local high school volleyball playoffs. Below is me actually following through with it.
Turkey Day
Thanksgiving will be different this year. Yes, I will eat way too much and fall asleep watching bad football. Yes, I will do everything with a sense of laziness and apathy, knowing for at least one weekend during the year, I don’t HAVE to be somewhere and do something. But 2008 is different than other Thanksgivings. This year, I’m not just celebrating the holiday, I’m experiencing it.
High School Football Playoffs
I got an e-mail from John Williams, the assistant commissioner for the Sac-Joaquin Section, and in it, several interesting story lines were compiled on this year’s section high school football playoffs. Rather than dissect them one-by-one, I’m just going to share it with you directly. You deserve full disclosure.
Making Changes
If you’re a loyal follower of The Sacramento Union, you’ve noticed that we’re making some changes. If you’re not, you should be.
The NFL “Not”work
For a year-and-a-half now I’ve been waiting to see my favorite player step on the field in the NFL. Last night, the wait was over, at least I thought.
