A new video from The Sports Informant has a one-on-one interview with superstar runner Jordan Hasay after she won the 1-mile event at the Golden West Invitational in Folsom, Calif. on June 13. Read The Sports Informant’s coverage of the event here.

Hasay continued her dominance in long-distance track events, winning by over 15 seconds. As she came down the stretch to the finish, not a single runner could be seen behind her.

Hasay said she really enjoyed the Golden West Invitational, which was the event’s 50th annual this year. It was her fifth straight appearance at the meet, first coming as an eighth grader, which she spoke about in the video interview.
