The Sac-Joaquin Section released its high school boys playoff brackets on Sunday evening, showcasing the seedings and matchups that will ultimately lead to a section title for one school in each of the five available divisions. 

Division I

First round games will be held on Feb. 26 at home sites of the better seeded team.

Number one seed Franklin of Elk Grove will face No. 16 Edison, while No. 2 Merced will face No. 15 Kennedy, No. 3 Burbank will play No. 14 Golden Valley, No. 4 Turlock will play No. 13 Vintage, No. 5 Rodriguez will play No. 12 Davis Sr., No. 6 Sheldon will face No. 11 West, No. 7 Grace Davis will face No. 10 Oak Ridge, and No. 8 Lincoln will host No. 9 Pleasant Grove.

The second round will have winners face off on March 2 at the University of Pacific in Stockton.

Division II

Division II first round games will be held on Feb. 24 at the home sites of the better seeded teams.

Number one seed Fairfield will face No. 16 Valley, while No. 2 Woodcreek will host No. 15 Folsom, No. 3 Yuba City will play No. 14 Cordova, No. 4 Oakmont will face No. 13 Bear Creek, No. 5 Jesuit will play No. 12 Pitman, No. 6 Rocklin will face No. 11 Grant, No. 7 Laguna Creek will play No. 10 Inderkum, and No. 8 Vallejo will face No. 9 Del Campo.

Second round games will be held on Feb. 26 at home sites of the better seeded teams.

Division III

Division III first round games will be held on Feb. 24 at the home sites of the better seeded teams.

Number one seed Sacramento will host No. 16 Hogan, No. 2 Vista del Lago will face No. 15 Sonora, No. 3 Del Oro will play No. 14 Sierra, No. 4 St. Mary’s will face No. 13 El Dorado, No. 5 Rio Americano will play No. 12 Livingston, No. 6 Center will face No. 11 Pioneer, No. 7 Manteca will play No. 10 Placer, and No. 8 Lincoln will face No. 9 Foothill.

Second round games will be held on Feb. 26 at home sites of the better seeded teams.

Division IV

Division IV first round games will be held on Feb. 24 at the home sites of the better seeded teams.

Number one seed Colfax will host No. 16 Ripon, while No. 2 Calaveras will face No. 15 Vacaville Christian, No. 3 Modesto Christian will play No. 14 Millennium, No. 4 Amador will play No. 13 Capital Christian, No. 5 Central Catholic will play No. 12 Escalon, No. 6 Mariposa will face No. 11 Christian Brothers, No. 7 Hilmar will play No. 10 Highlands, and No. 8 Cosumnes Oaks will face No. 9 Linden.

Second round games will be held on Feb. 26 at home sites of the better seeded teams.

Division V

Division V first round games will be held on Feb. 24 at the home sites of the better seeded teams.

Number one seed Victory Christian will host No. 16 Elliot Christian, while No. 2 Ripon Christian will face No. 15 Stone Ridge Christian, No. 3 Bradshaw Christian will face No. 14 Sierra Ridge/ROP, No. 4 Valley Christian will face No. 13 Big Valley Christian, No. 5 Sacramento Waldorf will face No. 12 Tioga, No. 6 Brookside Christian will face No. 11 Sacramento Country Day, No. 7 Sacramento Adventist will face No. 10 Forest Lake Christian, and No. 8 Global Youth will face No. 9 New Life Christian.
