The credentials speak for themselves: 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100 fly and 200 fly; 2008 Junior National finalist in the 200 fly; 2008 Junior National Team qualifier, six-time Junior National qualifier; four-time high school All-American; among CollegeSwimming.com’s Top 200 Prospects of 2009… and that’s just the resume Sara Haley built to earn her full scholarship to LSU prior to last fall.

Camellia Cup winner shares experience

I went one-on-one with 43rd annual Camellia Cup winner Wade Hough of Palermo, Calif. today, and he had some interesting things to say about his experience. Being the first to win the cup in a Raven boat is an accomplishment all in itself, but Hough did so in a storm on Folsom Lake, over the course of two days.

When I wrote for the Folsom Telegraph last week that the Folsom-Cordova United varsity lacrosse team secured a playoff spot with its win over the rival and neighbor Orangevale Rams on May 1, there was a lot of speculation as to who was going where, who was playing whom, and who was done for the year.
