Raley Field launches new Website for concert season

While Raley Field will still primarily be the home of the Oakland A’s Triple-A affiliate Sacramento River Cats, interest to use the venue for more than just baseball has grown over the last couple of years. With successful events like boxing matches and concerts taking the field, fans have come to the gates in droves to catch the next big event time after time.

So, naturally, organizers have turned to the Internet for help.

Raley Field launched an enhanced web site – Raleyfield.com – in advance of its 2011 summer concert season and other special events. An upgraded events calendar, stadium rental options and expanded photo galleries are just a few of the web site’s new features.

Each of the stadium’s event hosting venues, including the suite level, Right Field BBQ and Solon Club, are now easier to navigate and view, and include a wide array of photographs that display their unique offerings. Raley Field’s iconic view of the Tower Bridge and Sacramento’s downtown skyline are captured in sketch form on the web site’s home page, which features new social media elements.

“In coordination with Ovations Food Services, our Raley Field Events and Entertainment staff is committed to providing guests with the best service and leaving them with lasting memories,” said Raley Field President, COO, GM, Alan Ledford. “The launching of this enhanced web site is another great stride in fulfilling that commitment.”

The new Raley Field web site was designed and programmed by Daniel Tirapelli at Crux Design (www.cruxdesign.com). Tirapelli, a Sacramento State University graduate, has previously developed sites for Sacramento State University, Tower Bridge Bistro, and various local businesses.
