Winners crowned at section Girls Wrestling Invitational 2010
The Sac-Joaquin Section held the Girls Wrestling Invitational 2010 recently, where female wrestlers battled in their respective weight classes to both earn individual championships and help their teams vie for a shot at the title.
Jesse Bethel High took the overall team championship, with enough individual performances to accumulate 183.5 points overall, earning first place. Hogan took second (118.5), Edison was third (106), Vintage was fourth (100), Napa was fifth (69), Ripon was sixth (41), West Campus and Christian Brothers tied for seventh (40), Waterford was ninth (39) and Stagg was tenth (38).
